Step 8. Now for the head. You need to perform two more reverse (inside out) folds on the final layer of the bottom point, angling it so the points end up as shown below.



Step 9. Now tuck what remains of the point into the neck of the swift (or reverse fold it in if you're feeling ambitious).



Step 10. Finishing touches I. Find a nice angle for a bend in the wing-tips. Fold back and forth to crease, and then reverse fold each tip.



Step 11. Finishing touches II. Technically, you're not supposed to use scissors for origami, but just a tiny snip at the point of the body allows you to fold out a distinctive forked tail.



And here, roughly, is what your finished swift should look like. Though it doesn't quite achieve the distinctive silhouette, you do have the long wings, sleek, compact body and small, tucked-in feet, as well as a fair (if abstract) approximation of the head shape.
